Become obsessed
It’s Virgo Season, witches! Time to be obsessed with the details, wanting to control everything, loving to be of service to others and burning out in the process, being grounded and humble, being sensible and wanting to clean the house from top to bottom and all the way back.
Basically, if you get overwhelmed this season, go for a fucking walk. Hug a tree. Your nervous system will need some love after that intense Leo season and with worrying being one of our main attractions this season. We’re also still in the midst of Retrograde season. #BrokenRecordAlert Please be gentle with yourself.
Planets going rogue
So, the Sun has been in Virgo since 3.55 pm BST today (22 August 2024). Lovely. Mercury, still in Leo and retrograding into oblivion, is actually going to station DIRECT on the 28th. Then only about two weeks of a post Retro shadow and we’re good to go. No more communication or travel disasters, no more tech hiccups, no more misunderstandings… 👀 The day after, Venus is moving on into Libra. One of the signs she rules. Glorious. Expect some love for being extra, getting a taste of the next season. Lean into the harmony you crave in your relationships, have compassion for each other. Love on each other. Spend your money, but make sure the balance stays positive.
Change, change, change
September starts with Uranus, the disruptive fucker, stationing Retrograde. There always has to be one! We’ve been here before. Every year for the past few years, so this feels familiar. Whatever you’ve been working on changing for the long-term, will now take a bit of a break. You get some time to reevaluate what you’re doing and how. Is this change still serving you? Does that change need to…well, change? Go inwards and see where it takes you. If you have NOT been working on changing something long-term, this Retrograde may give you an external push of disruption. Enjoy.
On the second, Pluto – the tiny grim reaper retrograding along – is moving back into Capricorn for the last time in about 250 years. We will FINALLY enter Pluto in Aquarius fully and for good. 20 years of this nonsense is coming. Anyway, we will see a lot of power hoarding and things getting worse in the world until at least 19 November when it moves back into Aquarius. These next few months are pivotal. More clinging to power and money and the old systems, more uprisings, riots and fighting for liberation. Two movements clashing against each other. We’ve got two decades ahead of us to figure out who’ll win.
Tender loving care and logic
Mars enters Cancer on the fourth, bringing our passion for caring back. You will experience ease when it comes to initiating emotional connections to others. Emotional security comes before everything during this time. You won’t like change or confrontation very much, which is great with Venus in Libra at the same time. Until you need to have that difficult conversation with Mercury still in fiery Leo. May the odds be ever in your favour.
Mercury comes back into Virgo on the ninth, bringing us loads of common sense, logic and wit. It also comes with a lack of confidence and decision overwhelm; have all the details and you’ll be well prepared making those decisions, no matter their size.
The moon, look at the MOON!
After THAT Full Moon in Aquarius, which I consider to be the initiation for the 20 years of Pluto in Aquarius, I bet you don’t need any more action in this part of the sky. Oh boy, have I got news for you. We’re moving into Eclipse season. Why? Because the nodes are shifting in January – that is FIVE MONTHS from now!!! – and therefore the eclipses are shifting.
New Moon in Virgo
On Tuesday, 3 September 2024, at 2.55 am BST, you’ll experience the New Moon in Virgo being exact at 11°04’. What a mouthful. Think organisation, health, service. It is a great time to set intentions around these themes. Look at your Virgo house(s) in your chart and learn which area(s) of your life are most affected by this new moon. What needs organising? Full Moon – partial lunar eclipse – in Pisces
There it is, the disruption nobody needed. Eclipses are eclipsing, so be prepared to REALLY let go of things. Maybe some dreams, as the moon is in Pisces. The Full Moon will be exact on 18 September 2024 at 3.34 am BST at 25°40’ Pisces. The eclipse will be exact ten minutes later. Good questions to ask are: Where do you need to be more compassionate with yourself and others? Why are you so easily willing to sacrifice your own needs?
