One more gut punch before we go into full revolution mode. I’m not JUST talking about Scorpio season, but this season will be pivotal. Let’s get into it.

Dark clouds background with a light written Scorpio symbol on top of it. On top of it all, on a half transparent dark teal background, text says: Must be the season of the witch.

What’s happening?

As of 5.21 pm BST on Monday, 23 October 2023, the Sun has moved into Scorpio. With Mercury just having arrived in Scorpio, too, we’ll experience a lot of speaking the truth. Harsh truths, uncomfortable ones. Supported by Mars in Scorpio (hello fellow Mars Returners!), it can get quite intense in discussions and arguments. You may feel the need to physically run away from someone or something.

Being in the middle of eclipse season with the Libra Solar Eclipse just gone, we may have seen relationship breakdowns. Partners, friends, family, business relations – any type of relationship could be affected. With this eclipse energy chances are, if you decide to cut ties, that you will be done with people for good. It may hurt, but it’s often necessary. What goes in Eclipse Season, stays in Eclipse Season.

What’s the moon up to?

The next lunation is at the end of the week, on Saturday, 28 October 2023, at 9.24 pm BST (just before we get that extra hour of sleep that has been rudely taken from us in spring). The Full Moon in Taurus, which is also a Lunar Eclipse – which is exact just ten minutes before the full moon is, well, full – marks the end of Eclipse Season until Libra Season, which means the next new moon after this will be one to set powerful intentions for again.

With this lunar eclipse, look at where in your life you need more stability. Financial stability, emotional stability, an overall feeling of stability. Where is it lacking and why? And what is standing in your way to create it? The answer may well be another person. Or yourself, in many ways. Don’t be afraid to face either. If you can let go of whatever holds you back from creating stability in your life, the next six months will be significantly easier for you.

The New Moon in Scorpio on 13 November 2023 at 9.27 am GMT (yay!) will amplify the intensity of the season. That will help you to set some truly powerful and punchy intentions. We can move forward again and set the tone for the time all the way to Taurus season 2024. Try to dig up some deeply subconscious desires for this lunation and make some promises to start fulfilling them. See where this thought experiment leads you.

What’s the sun up to?

So, the Sun is why we talk about these seasons, right?! When it moves into Scorpio, we talk about Scorpio Season. With this focus on Scorpio energy, we see it taken away from relationships and being redirected to us as individuals. To the depth of our psyche, to our deepest (and darkest) desires, to why the fuck we’re suddenly so horny.

Scorpio energy brings depth and intensity to our lives. Passions may come back to the surface, but pains, too. We have an urge to destroy the old and do so without knowing how to bring about the new. This is very common for millennials because you have Pluto in Scorpio and at some point Mars, Mercury and the Sun will (and later in the year Venus) all be conjunct your Pluto and that urge will get almost unbearable. But because we keep digging shit up, we are exhausted and often don’t have the energy to build something from the rubble.

At the moment, that is meant quite literally because we’re seeing Gaza being bombed to the ground. We’re calling for ceasefire and there has never been more support for a free Palestine, but for many this most recent attack on Gaza has just opened your eyes to what’s been happening for 75 years. So now you’re digging all this shit up, decide it is wrong and want to make sure the suffering ends. But I promise you that the suffering doesn’t end with a ceasefire and some humanitarian aid. White saviour complex, anyone? What needs to happen is the drafting of a long-term solution. I have a very clear vision of what I would like to see happen, but have absolutely NO idea of HOW to make this happen. Here comes the trust aspect of Scorpio season. We like to keep everything under our own control, we don’t like to trust others to do the right thing because we sit on our high horse of knowing it best. We don’t. If you’ve just learnt about all of this *GesturesWildly*, then you won’t know either. We need to trust Palestinians to know how to go about all this. And then take their word for what they ACTUALLY need to make it happen. Apparently, that is a hard pill to swallow.

Please, nothing else!

Just a few things, you can do it! I’ll leave out the aspects, which I will talk about on my Instagram instead as and when they happen.

What I will mention, though, are these: Saturn will be stationing direct on 4 November 2023 at 7.03 am GMT. Sure, there is always a shadow (i.e. integration) period after a Retrograde, but we get to think and dream a little more clearly again. Bring some secrets to the forefront, bring some peace and quiet into our lives and thereby bringing us some peace of mind.

Venus enters one of the constellations she rules, Libra, on 8 November 2023 at 9.31 am GMT. Bring on some more harmony in our relationships, falling in love with the idea of love and bringing romance back into our lives.

Last but not least, Mercury enters Sagittarius on 10 November 2023 at 6.25 am GMT. Whilst tact will not be our strongest point during this time, we’ll be keen to learn things and communicate these things, teach others these things. They may not always be willing to listen, though, so allow for nuance and respect boundaries.

Thank you for being here, no matter if you’re just stopping by, subcribe for free or are a paid subscriber. If you like what you see, I’d love for you to support me financially for £8.88 per month, which will also get you on my Close Friends on Instagram, which will get you behind the scenes of my life and business.

Is that it?

Yep, that’s it. One last word on the Samhain Witch Circles, though. We meet in circle on both 31 October and 1 November. There are two times you can choose from each of those days: 1 pm or 6 pm. We’re in circle for two hours (and will most likely run over), we share, journal, meditate (to connect with our past lives or our loved ones from beyond), potentially move, definitely laugh, probably cry and absolutely share some more. It’s my pride and joy and truly a big part of my life’s work. It’s a non-judgemental space that is as safe as I can make it. You come as you are, with all the frills and weirdness you feel like you can’t bring into any other spaces. And we’ll welcome you with open arms.

At Samhain, there are also always new witches joining us, so you will not be alone in feeling a bit awkward joining a small group of strangers (I cap the circle at 12 people) pouring their hearts out. Everything we do in circle is optional and since it is such a vulnerable space, there will be no recording. You can secure your space for the full price of £22.22 here and for the discounted price for intentionally disadvantaged people* of £11.11 here. Once you’ve paid, I’ll be in touch to ask which circle you’d like to join and you’ll get an email with the Zoom link and some tips for preparation and what to bring a day or two before the circle happens. Book in now, I’d love to have you.

Stay magnificent. Stay witchy.

*Intentionally disadvantaged people are: Black people, Brown people, People of Colour, Indigenous People, Asian people, Muslim people, Jewish people, Disabled people, people from the LGBTQIA2S+ community, fat people and people on welfare benefits.
